Boxing Day Dip 2009.
On July 2nd this year I lost my sister Linda to ovarian cancer. During her final days she was cared for by the wonderful nurses at the Hartlepool Hospice. They treated Linda with dignity and respect throughout and her care was second to none. The nurses also provided support to us, the family during a very difficult time.
By way of saying thanks I've decided to take part in the Boxing Day Dip and I have to say as the days are getting colder I'm beginning to think I'm a right nutter!! It seemed like a brilliant idea back in the mini heatwave we had in July. The forms have been sent off and there is no turning back now! SO, if you want to see me freezing cold and looking like a drowned rat then please, please please sponsor me!
