We fund medical research to help more children beat cancer

Story

I am taking part in a Northumberland Coastal Walk of 26.2 mile on the 2nd of May!

I am inspired by a very brave little boy named Joseph, who I have met on my placement as part of my Northumbria University teaching degree. He had a rare and aggressive brain tumour. Joseph's appeal (please see Facebook page) would like to raise £11,000 in 2016 for the North of England's Children's Cancer Research Fund.

NECCR charity funds vital research into the causes and treatment of cancer in childhood, developing less toxic and more effective treatments, for the benefit of children with cancer everywhere.

Please take time to read Joseph's story and give generously to help other children through the same thing. I've joined the Joseph's appeal team...please see www.justgiving.com/teams/josephsappeal
