Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As may or may not know, I'm running the 2010 BUPA Manchester 10k on Sunday 16th May and I'll be raising money for the Alzheimers Society in the process. Its a great charity pioneering research into dementia and working with sufferers across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Dementia is a term used to describe various different brain disorders that have in common a loss of brain function that is usually progressive and eventually severe.
Have at a look at these couple of links if you want to find out about the causes
of dementia and how dementia is diagnosed. As well as the latest
stats on dementia.
