Story
I’ve signed up to ride Geoff Thomas’ ‘London 2 Paris: Inspiring the Revolution’ challenge, when I’ll be cycling 500km – that’s up to 80 miles a day – from June 18-22. I’m trying to help Geoff raise £1million for Cure Leukaemia – the blood cancer charity that saved his life.
Former Wolves midfielder Geoff has given me a personal fundraising
challenge and I need your help! If I raise £50,000, Geoff will swallow his pride
and wear an Albion shirt for one of our four days in the saddle. Please donate and
help me turn Geoff into a Baggie for a day!
Cure Leukaemia funds a network of specialist research nurses to administer clinical trials of potentially lifesaving drugs to leukaemia patients. The work being undertaken at the world-renowned Centre for Clinical Haematology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, is boosting the fight against blood cancers on a national and international scale.
