The Challenge is 200 miles through the Derbyshire Peaks, the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors. The challenge will be tough to say the least, taking in more than 60 miles of this year’s Grand Départ route, including the now famous Côte de Buttertubs Pass! 

All donations in support of the cycle ride will be 100% restricted to the Bruno Bursary Fund that will see future generations of children from less privileged backgrounds benefit from an Ampleforth education.

Up until 3 May, the longest I'd been on a bike was to ride to the pub 2 miles away!
