Story
My uncle Charles was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma in August. We have since found out that it is a strain of Blastoid Mantle Cell Lymphoma; a rare form of cancer for which research is ongoing. I am joining my many cousins in a worldwide event to raise money for Cancer Research UK and Stem Cell Research.
On 1st March 2015 I will run the Bath Half in a lovely white tutu as the 3rd leg of a global half marathon relay.
Kicking off the global marathon relay will be my brother Oscar and the Aussie cousins in Australia.
Next the baton is passed to Hong Kong, Rosanna Cator has rallied her friends to field 65 runners, who will be battling the hills and heat of Hong Kong to complete the second leg of the challenge.
The baton will then be passed to Bath where the home team will be waiting to join the “Bath Half”, accompanied by a staggering 76 friends and family runners as well as many more team followers.
Finally the baton speeds over the Atlantic to Vancouver Island where it will be passed to Charlie’s niece Annabel. She will be running along with 15 friends, two of which are Lymphoma survivors themselves!
Please support this intrepid endeavour and sponsor all the runners by donating to this JustGiving Page.
With love and thanks from all the Cators.
