We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

After our close friend and colleague of Abertay University, Dawn Keen passed away in 2011a few of us discussed taking part in a Moonwalk in her memory.  However after finding out places were allocated in a ballot, we decided to arrange our own event in our home town in order to invite more friends and colleagues to take part.

None of the participants in the challenge have ever walked a distance as long as 26km (16 miles) prior to this and we have undertaken with both trepidation and excitement and we hope to raise a lot of funds for this worthy cause.

Taking Part (so far)

Lynne Bewley, Jill Martin, Lesley Geddes, Sue Robertson, Shona Norman, Karen Smith, Tonya Whitmore, Lesley Coats, Hazel McIntyre, Shyvonne Lindsay, Hilary Smith, Jonathan Smith, Sharon Jeffrey, Colin Rae, Claire Allan, Claire Morton, Allison Dixon, Lorraine McLean, David Kelly, Julie Ramsay, and Shona McAlpine............
