Running for Tohoku

As all of you know, on March 11, Japan was devastated by the biggest earthquake and tsunami in its recorded history. Thousands of people have lost their lives, hundreds of thousands are now homeless, and large areas of Northern Japan remain without running water, power, basic supplies etc.
In response to this disaster, a team of individuals across Japan have decided to run to raise funds to support the relief efforts in the Tohoku region of Japan.
On 10 April 2011, I'm participating in the Kyoto 5 to survive event, a 5km run to support earthquake/tsunami relief. If you are able to donate a little to help the people of Tohoku get back on their feet, that would be awesome!
70% of funds raised will go to six organizations working with Global Giving for tsunami relief including International Medical Corps, Peace Winds and Architecture for Humanity.
30% will go toward Living Dreams and Smile Kids Japan's joint venture to help rebuild orphanages that were affected in northeast Japan.
Please help me help a country that I have called home for the past two and a half years.
