Story
In June 2018 my cousin found out that her gorgeous 5 year old daughter, PixieBelle, had a brain tumour and needed a treatment plan of 84 weeks of intense Chemotherapy.
In December 2018 having reached week 21, a quarter of the way through the treatment , PixieBelle had a reaction to the drugs and my cousin was told that they could no longer continue on that treatment plan and that the prescribed drugs would need to change. This put them back at week 1 on a new treatment plan.
So far PixieBelle has had 2 brain operations, more than 10 MRI scans, and 21 weeks of chemotherapy already. Throughout all this, this amazing family have continued to be positive and have fundraised relentlessly for the Royal Manchester Children's Hopsital
So I’ve decided to join them for this fantastic cause and run the Manchester 10K in May to help raise money towards Royal Manchester Children's Hopsital's iMRI scanner appeal to help children who have to go through brain surgery.
For those of you that know me, this is a huge task for me, I’ve never run and to be honest I never thought I would! So please dig deep and sponsor me to raise money for this fantastic charity.
