Story
Amnesty International works to protect and defend human rights. I'm lucky that Amnesty was part of my life: my dad was a prisoner of conscience in the former East Germany and people campaigned, lobbied and pestered the East German government until he was released.
Amnesty is still working all over the world for universal rights including freedom of conscience and religion, against the death penalty and torture. It's not supported by governments, just people like us.
The Three Peaks on a bike seems suitably difficult and scary ride to do in support of Amnesty - my heart will be in my mouth the whole way!
