Story
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. MS is different for everyone but common symptoms include problems with vision, balance, emotions, memory and thinking. There are over 15,000 people with MS in Scotland, making MS more common in Scotland than most other countries in the world.
The MS Society funds world-leading research, shares the latest information and campaigns for everyone's rights.
At BMAC we have members who either have MS or have family members with MS. Martial arts training has helped with balance, coordination and fitness as way to recover from MS incidents.
We are hosting our first Big Summer Bash martial arts marathon to support the MS Society's work. Together we can stop MS.
