RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

Myself  (Brian Hughes) and Brian Ratter are taking on the challenge of cycling 800 miles around the Highlands and Islands visiting 18 lifeboat stations, Kirkwall, Longhope  and Stromness (Orkney), Lerwick & Aith (Shetland), Lochinver,  Stornaway, Leverburgh,  Portree, Kyle of Lochalsh, Mallaig, Tobermory, Oban, Drumnadrochit, North Kessock, Invergordon, Wick and Scrabster.

We are hoping to raise as much as possible for the RNLI whose crews regularly put their own lives at risk to save others.
