In January 2012 I set out to row across the Atlantic Ocean.

Our four-man crew will row 3000 miles. We will row for two hours, rest for two hours, row for two hours... all the way to the other side.

I hope to raise £1 for every mile rowed.

The expedition will take between 45 and 60 days.

Hope and Homes for Children gives hope to the poorest children in the world – those who are orphaned, abandoned or vulnerable – by enabling them to grow up within the love of a family and the security of a home, so that they can fulfill their potential.
