Bath Half Marathon 2014 · 2 March 2014 ·

We're the UK’s only youth-focused breast cancer awareness charity, on a mission to get every young person checking their chest. We want all young people to know the signs and see their GP if they notice any changes. We do this because early detection saves lives.

Story

I’m running the Bath Half marathon for the awesome breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel! on 2nd March this year. I would love your support with this so any donations would be hugely appreciated by me and CoppaFeel!

I came across CoppaFeel! at the Cosmopolitan Lingerie Show and was so touched by Kris’ story and had to introduce myself. I had a lump when I was younger, although I was extremely lucky it was benign, I really related to her story. I found out about the Boobettes who go into schools and universities and raise awareness about breast cancer. It’s a charity with such a positive message and I want to do everything in my power to raise awareness.

CoppaFeel! was founded in October 2009 by Kristin Hallenga who herself was misdiagnosed twice with breast cancer at age 23; and now lives with secondary breast cancer. The charity educates young people on the importance of checking their boobs regularly and knowing the signs and symptoms of breast cancer.

I found out about the Bath Half so jumped at the chance. Especially when I found out that my friend Kye was also running it!

Thank you for your support! Wish me luck x
