We help young people to overcome their barriers and find work

Story

When I was first approached to run this race my heart sank... was there not something else I could do instead?... give a speech?... host a dinner? ... but then I realised that maybe by pushing myself out of my comfort zone, and by running this race I would not only be able to raise money for a great cause but I could practice what I preach... If I expect young people at the college and charity to challenge themselves then I need to lead by example!

So reluctantly, but with determination I will lace up my trainers and take to the road on the 15th June. Every pound of sponsorship will deepen my determination, and more importantly help to change the lives of young people... so please give generously if you can!

I am a strong believer in the work of the Inspire and Achieve Foundation. I have seen first hand how young lives can be changed by working with the project. We need to inspire our youth, in particular those who have had a difficult past. Unfortunately the reality is many young people have been through very difficult experiences through no fault of their own. These young people need encouragement and support in finding a future for themselves, and need to gain self- confidence, belief and something to look forward to in life.

The Inspire and Acheive Foundation have developed a model which will reach out to those young people, break down their barriers and support them step by step towards a new beginning.

Thank you so much for your donations... every pound can make a difference for these young people.
