Some time ago I read an article about how a little girl had grown her hair and when she had it cut she donated it to the The Little Princess Trust.  I was so moved by this I decided that I should do the same thing.  

Fast forward a few months and I asked the likers on my Sweetpea page if they thought we could raise the £350 needed to make my hair (or anyone elses hair) into a wig to make a child very happy indeed.  To my amazement lots of really lovely and generous creative people offered to help the cause and we then created a 'Art from the Heart Auction' event.

The Little Princess Trust raises money to give real hair wigs to children who have suffered hair loss due to cancer treatment.  I cannot imagine how upsetting it must be to lose all your hair and have that daily reminder of how ill you are :-(

We are now holding an event on 9th March at https://www.facebook.com/ScentedSweetpeas .  Pop to the page from any time between 10am - 9.30 pm GMT to bid on any item that takes your fancy.  Over 40 artists are taking part in this fantastic event.
