Virgin London Marathon 2013 · 21 April 2013 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

My name is Steven Brosnan, I was involved in that Channel 4 show, Derren Brown: Apocalypse, and ever since then I have been trying to better myself as a person and push myself in every way possible. I've ran for the Stroke Association before because it is very close to my heart and I've been given the opportunity to run for them again!

My best friend Stanley was one of the few people under the age of 16 to have a stroke, thankfully the doctors were able to save his life and he has no lasting damage. That was 6 years ago and he's only got stronger.
