I'm Antoine a first year student at the University of St Andrews. With 10 other St Andrews students, I will be cycling 3200 miles along the Silk road this summer. This adventure will start in Xi'an, China and end in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Through the St Andrews charity campaign we are raising money for two charities in Kyrgyzstan : the Elnura foudation and Fauna and Flora International.
The Elnura foundation works with two different charities in Kyrgyzstan: the center for the Protection of Children who take children off the streets in Bishkek and give them housing, food, medical care, education and social guidance; and Babushka Adoption that offers social; moral and financial support to the elderly in Kyrgyzstan.
Fauna and Flora have conservation projects for the protection and conservation of endangered species and ecosystems worldwide such as the endangered snow leopard in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
