It is only as awareness grows that you start to understand better, how loved ones could still be here, if only they reached out earlier to such charities like this.  Watching someone you love, lose faith in life and find answers elsewhere, whether this be suicide, self harm, shutting yourself, drink or drug abuse is one of the hardest things to do. 

Those who know me, know my story and how I had to watch my mum battle with her drink abuse for 10 years, which resulted in her passing at the age of 56.  My Son who was one and my daughter was 4, no longer remember the loving person that I knew to be my mum.  They say time heals all wounds, but it doesn't.  It just reminds you everyday, of what they are missing out on.

I hope the money I raise will stop others from making the wrong choice, but instead find the right choice and enjoy all that life has to offer.
