My Mom was the sunshine that shone down from the sky, through the clouds on a rainy day. A woman who loved life, and who lived it to the fullest. She took every opportunity she could, ran with the wind, and made sure that every second of her life, and the lives of those in her company, was the best it could be.

Unfortunately,  the day before mothers day 2022, my beautiful Mother was taken away from all of us, due to the horrific disease that is Motor Neurons Disease. After a life expectancy given to her of between 3 to 5 years, it only took 6 months, for this cruel disease to take my mother away.

A beautiful woman, an incredible wife, and an incredible mother to all. She did not deserve this. 

Her one wish was that other people did not have to suffer the way she did, trapped inside her own body, unable to truly be alive. Consumed by the paralysing effects of the disease, with no treatment or cure available. She prayed, she wished, she hoped for something to change.

I am here to make that change.

We do not want anyone to suffer the way Mom did. We do not want anyone to lose their dignity, and with the support of some incredible colleagues, friends and family, and of course, YOU. We can change things.

We want to carry on Moms legacy of Love, Hope and Happiness. And the message that life is precious, and should be lived to the fullest.

We CAN change things.

We CAN make a difference. 

And eventually.

We WILL find a cure.
