Story
Well, I am not fit at all but still I have decided to run the Coventry Half Marathon in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust for the very first time this year.
From my side, I will be running for HOPE...
HOPE to fight against Cancer,
HOPE for families and friends who constantly fear for their loved ones,
HOPE for those millions people suffering from Cancer worldwide,
and particularly HOPE for those 7 teenagers who are diagnosed with Cancer, every day in the UK ...
HOPE is the little voice you hear whisper "maybe" when it seems the entire world is shouting "no!".
Cancer is a hard journey but we must HOPE over fear and never give up... Life is worth living!
I deeply encourage patient and families to continually HOPE ...
Because it does not always happen to others... Let's all fight Cancer !!!
The expert care and support from Teenage Cancer Trust means that the patients don't have to face Cancer alone.
Please support me and donate for this great cause ! Every single donation counts in the fight against Cancer.
Thank you very much,
Anissa
Please also have a read through the below to find more about it, thanks again!
Every day in the UK, around 7 young people aged 13-24 find out they have cancer.
They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer.’ The Teenage Cancer Trust are the only charity dedicated to making this happen. Find out more about the charity here: (http://www.teenagecancertrust.org/who-we-are/about-us/).
Team MesmerEyez will be taking on the Coventry Half Marathon on Sunday 1st March to support the Teenage Cancer Trust, and you could join us. If you're interested in running with us, please contact our group leader Haroon Mota (Haroon.Mota@uclh.nhs.uk). If you can't run but still want to support, you can donate any amount here on this page.
You can also give by texting "MESM99 £" to 70070.
