Whilst raising lots for Willberry- Hopefully another event!β€οΈπ΄π§£
I didnβt think Iβd be back, but here I am with a little update!
I won an awardππ»π- basically for prevaricating on Facebook and encouraging others to raise awareness and funds for this worthwhile charity. Weβve had a run in with the foul C word this year and itβs well and truly scuppered my horsey ambitions, however Iβm hopefully back and planning to get less fat, more fit and back onboard!ππ»π΄π§£π

Well, I only went and did it- I didnβt throw up, poop my pants or even slide over in the mud (the weather was FOUL)π
BUT I did win my class!!!!
I am completely amazed and indebted to my lovely Wibbly Wobbly friends and the Fanbloomingtastic team at Owl House Stables and all of you of course xxx
Our raffle raised Β£155 aloneππ»ππ»ππ»

Arghhhh, one more day to goπ±ππ¨
I am pooooooping my pants, any last minute sponsorship would be most appreciated and would spur me on!

One week to go until the One Day Event that will mark the end of my Wobbleberry Challenge, to say that my tummy is starting to feel a little nervous is a HUGE understatement- I'm trying to think positively, nerves/excitement, same thing really?!?!?π³π€¦π»ββοΈπ€
If you could support me in this last week I promise I won't ask again!!! (I might just write a little match report afterwards!π€£π)
Thank you to all of you who have already supported me to this point π xxxxx
THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME DOUBLE MY FUNDRAISING TARGET AND RAISE Β£1000+π
Dressage at Everden β
8th place (out of 8!!!π€¦π»ββοΈ)
Best turned out though, before Fifi decided to roll!!! (AND in my fancy pants show jacket that I never thought would fit!π)
5 weeks until the ODE and the end of my 'Challenge', still time to sponsor though!!!)
ππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
Eeeeeek, it's here, the hugely anticipated and long awaited Wobbly ODE at Owl House Stables, October 1st... πππ»
Is there anyone out there who would be interested in sponsoring a class, volunteering or even baking some cakes to raise more funds for Willberry?!?
Once this (and my dressage this weekend) is done I will have completed MY Wobbly Challenge (not a BE80 I know, but sooooooo much more than I ever imagined I'd do- everything I originally laid out as my goals, AND MOREπ), then I will stop begging for sponsorship π
One last push!
Friday 2nd June I am soooo very proud to be a Wobbleberry xx
I have had the absolute pleasure of spending time with four other Wibbly Wobbly Wobbleberries this week, they fill my heart with pride with their dedication and determination to #kickcancersbutt
I feel very lucky to be surrounded by such special people as we work our way though this Challenge π xx
UPDATE (with photos and ticks against my original personal pledges and challenges!)π (14.4.17)
I AM SOOOOOOO PROUD OF MYSELF!π³ππ This week I have ridden for 9 hours! I have been on a hack to the beach, I have completed a two day Bootcamp, I have ridden a dressage test, completed a round of showjumping and a course of cross country! π I am buzzing!!! π I have ticked against my original goals and pledges on here, hopefully you will agree that I am trying my best to #kickcancersbutt and you will donate to my Wobbleberry Just Giving page π
xxx Thank you xxx
October: I have also joined the Wibbly Wobbly Wobbleberry Facebook support group as most other riders are scaring the pants off of me (I thought the challenge was for seriously questionable idiots like myself! π±) SO I suppose that brings me to the next challenge- to actually book a ride π³ As much as I love her, it will not be on Colleen!!! I need to find myself an equine armchair at a yard with a winch and tackle/super high mounting block and an indoor school with no viewing gallery/prying eyes! Not a lot to ask I feelπ³π
I haven't even sat on a horse for the last quarter of a century! My perception of my riding ability back then was probably skewed with teenage confidence and now I have the adult fear of pain, a bad back and a seriously weakened bladder!!!
However I have set myself the personal Wobbly Challenge of losing weight (bit of a tick β , I still have a long way to go!π³), getting fit (it's a definitely improving tick β ) and riding again β ππ I have set myself an outward goal of going on a lovely hack with my beautiful girls (both 2 and 4 legged) β I also have an secret desire to complete the Wye Ride or perhaps do a dressage test β
If Hannah Francis could achieve everything she did, through her pain then I should be able to step away from chocolate and cake, eeek! Please take the time to visit https://www.willberrywonderpony.org/blog/ and read Hannah's inspirational story and PLEASE watch the video of her amazing dressage test, before reading on... simply amazing :'(
If you could please support me I would be sooooooo very grateful, I promise that I will stick to my Wobbly pledges #kickingcancersbutt
