Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 2nd April 2014 my 12 yr old son stood up in front of his whole class and told everyone what it was like to have Aspergers, the good and the difficult parts. That was on Autism day.
What a hero, to have the guts to tell everyone. What worries him most is not so much how he is, but how people with severe Autism cope with life. I asked him what can people do to help, he said "respect".
So I want you to know about Aspergers and Autism so that you will be able to respect their differences. The National Autism Society help to provide coping strategies for all involved, including me. Chances are that someone you know finds life difficult and may be on the spectrum.
That's why me and my pals are going to put ourselves through this massive task, because no matter how hard it gets it wont be as difficult as a wee boy with social problems getting up in front of the whole class and expressing who he is. Awesome!
Please support me by either joining in or by giving a wee donation. Thank you.
