Big News!

In April 2018 I will be joining the 9th Annual Vietnam H2H Ride for Charity.

I am part of a 20-person team of riders committed to raising funds for education for poor children in the rural schools and orphanages of Vietnam. During the month of April we will cycle 1,200 miles/2,000 km from Hanoi (in the north)  to Ho Chi Minh City (aka Saigon, in the south).

100% Donation

Everyone involved is a volunteer, and 100% of your donation will go directly to the benefit charities, including my employer, the ILA Community Network with Saigon Children, Blue Dragon, KOTO, and Live and Give.

Last year the ride raised more than US$42,000!

My New Challenge

I am both nervous and excited to be participating in such a challenging endeavor. DHL is one of the ride sponsors, and will supply support vans in front and behind the riders the entire way, carrying our gear (as well as a medical team and bicycle mechanics).

All together it will be 28 days from start to finish, with four rest days thrown in for recovery (1,200 miles/2,000 km is a long way!).

I've never participated in anything like this before. But after spending time in this amazing country and meeting the people involved with this effort, I feel strongly that this is a worthy cause.

I remember the social impact activities from my time at INSEAD, and how satisfying it was to see the children we helped.
