Story

On April the 22 2012, I am due to undertake a feat of human endurance only reserved for the most committed and able of athletes, the Virgin London Marathon 2012. Seeing as I am neither an athlete, committed or able this might be somewhat of a struggle. The reason I am running 26.2 miles is not for myself, I am aiming to raise £2,000  for the fabulous charity that is Naomi House. To do this, we need to come to some sort of deal, basically I run the distance and your good selves provide some form of monetary value as a encouragement. This will serve 3 purposes, 1). It will help me in my fundraising quest 2). It will provide money for those who need it and 3). Cleanse your soul from the horrific, capitalist fuelled existence that we live in these days by committing a self-less task. After completing the Great South run, I feel I am in a good position to complete the marathon and the streets of London are far more hospitable that the war-torn, run down, chav filled streets of Portsmouth where that event took place.
