We help people with neurological conditions to live longer, healthier, happier lives

Story

Thanks for visiting my Just Giving fundraising page:

For me 2014 is about getting fit again, undertaking some personal challenges, but most importantly raising some much need funds for this excellent charity.

Neurosupport is a Liverpool based support group who offer non-medical advice and assistance to people with a neurological condition, to their families and also to the professionals who care for them.

I have set myself an ambitious fundraising target, which I really hope to achieve. In order to make my request more appealing to those who I am seeking sponsorship from, I have planned a number of challenging events which I hope with persuade you to give generously!

Whilst my two main high-profile fundraising events this year will be the ascent of Mont Ventoux (with a group of likeminded people from the personal injury sector) & Ironman Copenhagen (my own personal challenge), below I have listed the other events I will be completing in my quest to make a difference to this charity.

  1. Cheshire Cat - 100 mile Cycle Ride – 23rd March 14 (Completed)
  2. Tour of the Peaks – 110 mile Cycle Ride – 18th May 14 (Completed)
  3.  Liverpool Marathon – 26.2 mile Run – 25th May 14 (Completed)
  4. Bala Middle Distance Triathlon – 2km Swim, 80km Bike, 21km Run – 8th June 14 (Completed)
  5. Flat out in the Fens – 112 mile Cycle Ride – 22nd June 14 (Completed)
  6. Ascent of Mont Vonteux – 22km, over 5000 feet of climbing, average gradient 7.6%  - 27th June 14 (Completed)
  7. Ironman Copenhagen – 3.8 km Swim, 180km Bike, 42.2 km Run – 24th August 14 (Completed)
  8. National 3 Peaks Challenge – 44 km, 3000 m ascent, 24hrs. – 13th / 14th September 14

I really do hope that you will sponsor me, as every little will help me reach my fundraising target.

Many thanks in advance.

Kind Regards

Andrew
