Story
are they mad?
As many of you know, we are planning to cycle from London to Paris at the end of May, 2013. We freely admit that the idea fills us with a mixture of excitement and apprehension!
So why are we doing it?
The ride is raising money for Kisima Secondary School in Kenya, a fantastic place that Andrew was privileged to visit in 2007, and which provides free education for 160 boys and girls from the most incredibly deprived backgrounds from villages all over the desert region of Northern Kenya. On his last visit Andrew saw many of the villages that the children come from, and they were some of the most barren places he had ever seen. He saw the literally life-transforming work that the School is doing, and also the ongoing need: while we have so much, it is humbling to see others surviving on so little.
Please sponsor us now. - It makes the hard slog up all those hills far easier when we know that others are sharing with me the vision of helping to trasform the lives of these precious children in this way!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Educational Frontier Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. Thank you so much for your support!
