Every year around 7% of all babies are born too early. Being born too soon creates major problems for babies that are not yet ready for survival in the outside world. Some of these premature babies die, whilst others are saved by the excellent neonatal care available in our hospitals.  The Grace Research fund, based at the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire and in partnership with The University of Warwick funds research into the underlying causes of preterm birth and into advances in neonatal care.
