Story
Hello!
So, for the month of April 2013 I'll be joining 19 others to cycle the length of Vietnam, from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. That's about 2000km!
There's a great reason for travelling this distance on a saddle that is essentially just a pole… We're raising money for a local charity - Saigon Children's Charity. They support Vietnam's poorest children through education and healthcare, the work they do includes sponsoring children's education and building schools. You can take a look at the great work they do from the link.
I'm not exactly an experienced cyclist, (I don't think I'd even been on a bike for about 5 years before moving to Saigon) but I'm determined to train hard and complete the ride. Your donations will be a massive help to get me back in the saddle when it gets tough. So please support me and the children of Saigon, all donations will make a big difference!
This link shows our route and will be the place for our blog throughout the ride http://h2hrfvc.blogspot.com/p/the-route.html . Check it out!
Thanks so much for your support.
Amy xx
H2H is entirely run by volunteers and all riders are covering their own expenses on the ride. Expenses for safety, fundraising and financial administration are kept to the essentials so as much of your donation as possible can go straight to H2H’s partner charities.
