Story
Against my better judgement I am soon going to be abseiling down Reading's tallest building. I hate heights so much that the only thing that could possibly convince me to a) rise 128 metres above Reading's skyline and b) put all my faith in one little rope to get down again, is a good cause. And St Mungos is one of those.
Based in London and the South, it provides over 100 accommodation and support projects for homeless people. It runs emergency services including street outreach teams and emergency shelters for rough sleepers, in addition to hostels.
The charity also supports people in their recovery, through the provision of safe housing, drug and alcohol support, and physical and mental health care. It also helps homeless people gain life skills, through services such as job training.
So, if you are kind enough to sponsor me, you'll not only help me to stop stressing about the impending abseil of doom, but you will more importantly help a fantastic charity.
Thanks very much!!
