The Challenge:

In July 2013 my husband and I are setting off on an adventure.

To cycle from Xi'an in China to Bangkok in Thailand over a period of 5 months.

This will be the hardest challenge we have ever attempted both in distance and in terms of adapting to climatic, cultural and linguistic differences (our language skills are at best basic).

Chris and I are both keen environmentalists, which is one of the reasons for our 2 wheeled tour. Our world is under increasing environmental strain with unscrupulous corporations seeking to make a profit regardless of the consequences, Greenpeace’s work has never been more important.

If you would like to sponsor me to encourage me to get back on my bike on those mornings where its cold and wet and there is a big mountain to cycle up, raising money so that Greenpeace can have more funds to protect and defend our environment will definitely spur me on!
