Story
Some of you may already aware but for those not I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in June as part of a WGPSN UK HR Team with 7 other colleagues. At 5,895m, Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the largest volcanoes ever to break through the Earth's crust. Our challenge is ...... to reach its summit!!! We will take in 8 days on the mountain, sleeping under canvas, and trekking at altitude. Most trekkers will never have experienced a day as tough as this, with 1,000m of ascent and over 2,000m of descent. Not for the faint hearted – and nowhere to plug in my straightners!
The main reason for our Challenge is to raise money for Maggies. Maggies Centres are for those affected by Cancer to provide all kinds of support and care from diagnosis to palliative care and also for the families affected too. For more information on Maggies you can access the site through clicking the below link http://www.maggiescentres.org/
So now all you need to do is DIG DEEP and sponsor me which will go towards our team goal of £34,000. Your donation, small or large, would be very much appreciated.

To keep up to date with our Challenge up to 12th of June when we depart the UK like our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MountainsForMaggies) and also our blog which is regularly updated with our progress and stories so far. It really is a big challenge for all us. I personally could not pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity to challenge my fitness level but ultimately to be able to do my bit to support such an exceptional charity.
