3 years ago my mum was diagnosed with early on-set Alzheimer's at the age of 53. Since then she has deteriorated rapidly and is now at the point where she cannot do simple tasks on her own such as cutting up her food, reading or writing and as you'll see from my profile picture she has also lost the ability to look at cameras (literally couldn't find a single photo of her looking at the camera)!

By 2021 over a million people will be living with Dementia in the UK, the Alzheimer's society do amazing work for all those with Dementia, not only are they doing vital research for a cure but they also provide support and care for those affected by Dementia.

I believe Dementia is one of the worst disease's to have, at any age and I want to help make sure that in the future no person has to suffer or watch a loved one suffer with it. So please sponsor as much as you can to help with this great cause :)
