We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

This is Phil. I met Phil when he interviewed me for my first proper job in 2008. Since then I've marvelled at his wisdom, followed his advice and laughed at his jokes (while dreaming that one day I would be intelligent enough to understand them..!).

It's a real privilege to be taking part in the Great South Run in October as part of Team Phil. We're doing it because he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in June 2016. There's currently no cure or real treatment available. But, in true Phil style, and despite the difficulties it's caused him, he has set himself a target to do something amazing and raise £10,000 in what will be some of his hardest months.

I'm running for Phil. I'm running for his wife, Brenda. And I'm running for MNDA: a fantastic charity that funds vital research which we hope will one day bring an end to motor neurone disease.

Please take the time to read and share Phil's story, and give what you can.

P.s. He's also made a pretty cool video, which you can watch here:
