Story
33.4 miles underwater in ten days with time restrictive measures in aid of The Royal Marines Charity, as part of the 1664 Challenge.
Hold your breath and please support Matt Burley's rather unique 1664 Challenge: The Amphibious Edge - for the Royal Marines Charity. Matt's aim is to complete 166 lengths underwater by pulling on a rope that will be fixed to each end of a 33 metre pool. Matt will get 30 seconds at each end to catch my breath; Matt cannot come up between lengths. To make this even more challenging Matt will do this for 10 consecutive days finishing with 4 more lengths on the final day in order to reach the number 1664 (lengths in total!) That equates to 5546.11 metres per day, 55, 461 meters in total or 34.46 miles underwater
