Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh

So i've decided to sign up with Muslim Charity to participate in cycling from Cambridge to London. That's 60 miles!

This is my first ever cycle challenge with the aim of raising the much needed funds towards paying for medical assistance and equipment for the oppressed, injured and wounded in Gaza.

The recent violence on the border of Gaza was so intense that the number of injured raised to thousands within days. This was the worst violence since 2014 where more than 13,190 people were injured and wounded by live fire, shrapnel and gas inhalation.

Muslim Charity is on the ground and providing urgent medical assistance to for the wounded.

I ask everyone to please dig deep and donate whatever you can. Be it £5 or £500, every penny counts and will be an investment towards your akhira. 

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Charity does not decrease wealth.” Narrated by Muslim (2588).

It was narrated that Ka‘b ibn ‘Ajrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to me: “Charity extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire.” Al-Tirmidhi (614); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Sunan al-Tirmidhi.
