My aim is to raise as much money as possible to support the Syrian and Iraqi refugees in dire circumstances. I am truly touched by the current situation that they are in and I'm sure you are too; I'm responding to this by fundraising to help establish a disability clinic for children and orphans living in Al-Zataari refugee camp in Jordan. I have been given the privilege to go there with a close group of university brothers, alongside HRF, to send all the donations over; to gain a first hand experience of what they face on a day to day basis and provide aid. The rehabilitation centre will provide a suitable place for children and youth with various types of disabilities including physical, sensory and mental impairments. The centre will also provide parents with the necessary training in order to care for their disabled children; other features include a purpose-built mosque and a sewing factory to give the refugees actual work and develop a level of independence.
