I have managed to complete the challenge of competing in a British Eventing 80 class at the Stratford Hills Horse Trials. They put on a fantastic event and catered so well for the extreme heat including wash down areas at the end of cross country for the horses.

The challenge was a little different for me as I had undertaken to do it on a 5yr old horse purchased in November with limited experience. It has given me such pleasure preparing him along with challenging my nerve! So yesterday was a huge success, no rosettes but personal and horse achievements were vast.  It is all thanks to Hannah, she reminded us not to dwell on hardships but to embrace all. 

I hope I can raise a little in her memory and help to provide research into bone cancer and support to those diagnosed.
