Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you already know, I am planning to run the 2010 LONDON MARATHON and have pledged to raise at least £1,400 for a charity called SENSE who support deafblind and rubella causes. As examples of where donations go, £15 could pay for a tactile book to develop a child’s sense of sight and touch at a Sense Family Centre and just £5 could buy a set of musical bells to help stimulate even the tiniest amount of a deafblind child’s hearing in music therapy.
It would mean so much if you can help because not only will you be donating to a worthy cause but your support will help me get to the end of the 26.2 mile journey which I am even more determined to do 'in memory' of my friend Donna.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I would be grateful for anything you can donate no matter how small. Thanks for your support
