Story
Hello my friends,
For the first time in my life i am very affected by the situation of a good friend.
I'm raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support on JustGiving, and I'd really appreciate your support.
A very good friend and RNLI Lifeboat colleague has terminal Mesothelioma cancer. Its a cancer caused by exposure to asbestos.
He is going through a very rough time and the people from Macmillan are helping him in this very special time.
A few friends of him and me are doing the south downs walk on bikes on the 13th and 14th of July 2012.
IT IS 100 MILES = 161 KM!!!! Click here for the Map of the south down walk
And LOTSand LOTS of up the STEEP HILLS. Click here for Profile of south downs
We are raising money for Macmillan as this is the wish from our friend.
We are already training and accomplished yesterday in 8 hours 43 miles. Doing the second part from Washington to Eastbourne. You don't know how many steep hills there are until you did it. EXHAUSTING!!!
Some of us have completed already more than 500miles in the last two weeks!!!
And one week later on 21st July, Rani will be in the team of crew and friends of Newhaven Lifeboat that will be walking along a stretch of the South Downs Way from Ditchling Beacon to Firle Beacon, some 16 very hilly miles!
Please help us and Macmillan with a donation.
We are very grateful for any pound that you can donate.
ITS EASY FAST AND TOTALLY SECURE!
JustGiving sends your donation straight to Macmillan Cancer Support and, if you're a UK taxpayer, automatically reclaims Gift Aid on Macmillan Cancer Support's behalf, making your donation go further.
What's more, JustGiving will never spam or sell your details. I hope you'll join me in supporting Macmillan Cancer Support.
Thank you very much for your support and help.
