Story
Last year, my world was completely crushed and changed forever..
In April, my Dad was diagnosed with incurable pancreatic cancer. We had no idea how long we had him for or what life would be like knowing that Dad was terminally ill..Days went by, some were good, and some were really, really bad. Dad then went back into hospital on my birthday in July, then sadly we lost him on August 6th.
Dad won’t be able to walk me down the aisle, or be a grandad for when I have kids, or be there for the most important moments of my life or for when I really need him. He was the biggest, most “blokey” bloke you could meet, standing at 6”4, hard working, truck driver, rugby and cricket lover, and overall family man that had everyone laughing with his sarcastic nature and charming wit. I miss him more and more as the days go by..
Pancreatic Cancer is known as the silent killer, as once you know you’ve got it, it’s too late.! I’m representing PCUK to raise awareness and to fundraise in which will help with more studies and research to end this evil disease for good..
If you wish to help me in my fight against this, please donate as any money whatsoever is greatly appreciated..
