Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
I started running in the lead up to my 50th birthday in 2012 and after running my first 10k last year wanted to do something to push myself this year in order to raise funds for the Fibromyalgia Association. I have decided to enter the Essex 10k Cross Country Series which are five 10k runs, one a month, from May to September. I am also going to be taking part in the Westminster Mile in May, the Chelmsford Race for Business in June (5k) and the Anniversary Run in the Olympic Park (5 mile) in July for good measure!! This might make me sound like an expert runner, but please be under no illusions - I know each one is going to be a struggle, but I am hoping that your donations will help me to complete them!
I have chosen to raise money and awareness for the Fibromyalgia Association as this is an "invisible" auto-immune disease that my daughter, Emma has suffered from and continues to suffer from since the age of 18.
