Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm raising money for this brilliant charity which works hard to rescue and rehome my favourite animal every day, all year long. I am also excited to be part of their international work of conserving tigers which are still suffering from loss of habitat and illegal hunting.
I will be spending three days in the Kanha National Park, which was the inspiration for Rudyard Kipling to write the Jungle Book! I will be getting hands on experience with the conservation efforts of the habitat maintenance of the park while also taking part in safari drives where I will hopefully get to spot some tigers and other endemic animals.
For the trek I will be climbing the Dhauladhar mountain range and then make my way across the Lesser Himalayan range of Northern India. I will be walking approximately 14km per day, reaching altitudes of up to 2800m!
Please give anything you can to help fund this project as it was the most amazing experience of my life and I'm thoroughly blessed to have been on the journey! Thank you for your donation as it will be invaluable for the work that Cats Protection do.
