Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On August 15th 2015 my little brother, Jordan, was involved in a freak accident whilst out on his bike whilst undertaking the Cotswold Wiggle Sportive. Having come off his bike he was hit head on by a car coming the other way. He suffered massive internal injuries and catastrophic head injuries in the impact.

Fellow cyclists that day lifted the car off of him, and undertook emergency first aid. The Great Western Air Ambulance was dispatched and the crew managed to stabilise him before flying to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

Without the life saving medical attention given by the crew, and the ability to get Jordan to the hospital much faster than a conventional road ambulance, my little brother wouldn't have survived long enough to continue his fight in hospital.

A little over 5 months later, my little brother has made good progress with his recovery, with his physical injuries healing well. I feel forever indebted to the Great Western Air Ambulance as without them we'd have lost him.

Any donations towards helping this wonderful charity continue the work they do, literally saving lives on a daily basis, would be massively appreciated.
