Story

Hello Donors! As many of you know this was my second jump, and I have to say much more terrifying than the first! I think the foreknowledge of what was to come was the difference as the first jump was pure excitement, this one was somewhat different..... The first indication was the inability to breathe as we ascended in the plane, then when asked to exit the aircraft the thought 'you want me to do whatwhennow???' occurred, followed by me reaching for a strap/handle/lever to stop me plummeting earthwards. once I realised that no such  object existed (necessitating a continuation of the aforementioned plummeting) I relaxed somewhat. Right up to the point when the chute opened (get me with all the lingo) at which point the thought 'what if the straps break' entered my head and did not leave till we were once again on the ground. In fact that thought still troubles me a week later......     Big thanks to all who sponsored me and to Andy & Kerry Rafferty for getting me started on this road to begin with - thanks guys, sometimes all you need to fulfill a lifelong dream is a push from those that know you best :-)

Would I do it again? That's a YES from me!
