Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Hi, I'm Aidan, I'm 7 years old and I'm doing a sponsored swim for Special Kids in the Uk at half term (24th May - 3rd June).
I Have Cerebral Palsy and Autism. Cerebral Palsy menas that I cant use my arms and legs very well (my legs are affected the most) and I cant walk on my own. I use a wheelchair and a walking frame to get around. I normally sink in the swimming pool because my arms and legs go stiff, but I have just learnt to swim on my back with only a foam woddle under my neck. I find it very difficult and tiring because of the Cerebral Palsy. I thought it would be the perfect challenge for me to raise some more money for Special Kids in the UK.
I decided at the Special Kids camp last summer that I would raise lots of money for them, and so far I have done a sponsored walk, dressed up as a reindeer with a collection pot and I also did a collection at camp. I still want to raise much more because they have helped my mum with giving her advice about my conditions and lots of support. I get to meet other children like me.
Special Kids means allot to lots of families like mine. But they need money to keep helping us. So please help me raise lots of money. Even if you can only donate £1, it will help.
Thank you!!!
