Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I started raising money for Parkinson's in 2006 and that year managed a total of £3506 and bit more since then. This year I hope to do just as well with your help. I am 64yrs young and have set myself a couple of physical challenges. First on Sunday the 8th July I intend to walk 26 miles over hill tracks, now for you people who have ran a marathon this is the same distance, then in October walk 6 days in Jordan (more latter)

Why, Scott my husband was diagnosed over 10 years ago with Parkinson's and are well aware of the difficulties a disease such as this can cause. Parkinso's uk depends totally on donations to carry out research to find a cure. They also campain to change attitudes and demand better services. They provide via a net work of local groups specialist nurses, informatiom and support. With all of our support we can together provide them with the funding to find a cure and improve the life for everyone affected by Parkinson's

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
