Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Anthony Nolan are the charity who hold the bone marrow register for the UK.  Every 20 minutes somebody is diagnosed with a blood cancer and for many a bone marrow transplant is their only chance of survival.  Having volunteered with Marrow for a number of years now I've seen how important it is to recruit even more potential donors to the register but it costs £60 to add each new potential donor onto the register and that is why I've chosen to take on this!

Last year, along with others from Keele University Boat Club, I ran the Liverpool Half Marathon for Anthony Nolan and having taken on that I now want to take on an even bigger challenge!  So this year Kat, Alex and myself will be running the London Marathon on 24th April. Hopefully with your generous donations and my madness for committing to run we can add another 100 potential lifesavers onto the register between the three of us!

Thank you ever so much for your support!
