Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Alastair is in his late 30’s, has two small children and is self employed. He has kidney failure and is going to require two kidney transplants in his lifetime . The first is likely to be  sooner rather than later - transplants currently last for 15 -20 years, hence the need for a second. He is just one of thousands facing kidney failure - we want to do our bit to help with this essential research for kidney patients.

Judy and Cameron are currently training hard  for the Great Scottish Run in Glasgow on 1 October, for those who have no idea how far this is - it’s a half marathon! With a combined age of 110 years, you can guess we are going to need plenty of encouragement! Please encourage us as we face our own challenges!

A word of thanks to our two excellent team managers in Adrian and Lucy. They send us out in all weathers!

Thank you for reading our story
