After one too many night out with Tom Baigrie I've finally been persuaded to sign up to do one of these Charity Bike ride things. London to Brighton or Paris seemed too easy however so instead I'm riding across Morocco and into the Atlas mountains with hopefully a bunch of similarly out of shape, past their prime rugby players and assorted others (if Tom can do it surely anyone can?). Not sure how far, how many hills but almost definitely further than I've cycled for a few years, over pretty rough terrain, steeper than I've done before and most likely pretty hot for the duration. The ride is the first week of October so dig deep and donate now to encourage me to get "on my bike" as it were!

We're raising money for Nordoff Robbins, Childline and the Teenage Cancer Trust, fantastic charities that do great work - as a team we're hoping to raise £300,000 which will make one hell of a difference to some very vulnerable people. Along with the other riders, I'm covering my own costs so all money donated goes directly to the charities.
